Arizona Driver Improvement Information
Eligibility:
In Arizona, you are eligible to take defensive driving for diversion (ticket dismissal) if you have an eligible traffic violation. A list of eligible traffic violations may be found here: http://www.azcourts.gov/Portals/48/ListOfEligibleVIOLATIONS01112011REV.pdf. You are eligible to take the course if your traffic violation DID NOT result in a collision that killed or seriously injured any person, as specified by ARS 28-3392(C)(1). Commercial drivers’ license holders are NOT eligible to take a diversion course, regardless of whether they are driving commercially at the time of the violation, if the violation date occurred on or after 8/25/04. Also, Photo radar citations issued by the Department of Public Safety (DPS) are NOT eligible for diversion. You may only take defensive driving for diversion once every 24 months. GoToTrafficSchool.com is required verify your eligibility before you may begin this course.
Please note: if you have received more than 1 violation and were granted an extension of the court date, the extension covers only the violation for which you are now attending school. All other violations must be handled with the court by the original court date as written on the ticket by the officer. You must be able to complete this class at least 7 days prior to your court date.

Final Exam:
Each lesson page is 5 minutes. After each 15 minute session, or 3 lesson pages, there will be a short, multiple-choice quiz to review what you’ve learned. The quizzes include 3 multiple choice questions to highlight some of the important points covered in the chapter and prepare you for the final examination. You must answer all 3 questions correctly in order to proceed to the next lesson page or chapter.
You will also be asked 10 personal identification verification questions during enrollment for this course. These questions will be used to verify your identity during the course.
The final exam consists of 20 multiple choice questions. You must answer 16 or 80% correctly in order to pass. If you fail, don't worry, you may retake it as many times as necessary in order to pass.
Certificate Delivery:
Your certificate of completion will be sent directly to you for your records, according to the delivery method you select during registration. We will report your course completion directly to Flagstaff Justice Court, according to the requirements of Flagstaff Justice Court.
